Security

Yes. Our storage facility is fully alarmed with a RedCare monitoring system. Immediate police response is activated if the alarm is triggered.

Our facility has 24 hour CCTV monitoring around the building perimeter and main corridors. Cameras record 24 hours a day to a digital system, and the building is protected by a modern intruder alarm system.

Access And Opening Hours

Normal access hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, Saturday, 10am to 1pm, and Sunday, 11am to 1pm.

Storage Units

Yes. Our units are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and are designed to provide clean, dry and secure storage. Certain items are not allowed in storage if they could cause damage or create a hazard.

Insurance

No. We recommend arranging suitable insurance cover for your stored goods. Many household contents policies do not cover items while they are in storage. We can recommend Insura-Store, a specialist broker for self storage insurance.

Booking And Requirements

Yes. You will need photo ID, proof of address, payment for your rent and insurance details. You can bring your own padlock or buy one from our packaging shop.

You can store most household, student and business items, but some items are prohibited. These include firearms, combustible materials, chemicals, compressed gas, illegal substances, illegally obtained items and living creatures. Police and HM Customs may have powers to enter a room subject to serving notice on us.

There is no need to book far in advance because you can usually move in immediately, provided the space you require is available. We do not charge a booking fee and you do not need to be tied to a long-term contract.
